17th November 2010
Following the media interest generated by the recent release of the annual QS Global 200 Top Business Schools Report 2010, TopMBA.com is releasing further findings from the report- the MBA programs most popular with employers in ten specialist fields.
The QS Global 200 Business Schools report received responses from 2,145 employers worldwide, making it the largest ever survey of MBA employers.
The three most popular rankings of MBA specializations- corporate social responsibility (CSR), entrepreneurship, and finance have already been released on www.topmba.com.
The next specialization to be released is Information Management on 18th November.
The report showed a strong increase in demand for MBAs in IT and computer services, mainly driven by Asia. In a recent Bloomberg Businessweek interview*, Nunzio Quacquarelli, Managing director of QS said, “Many MBAs have an IT background and go back into that sector in managerial roles. There's also a huge outsourcing industry in Asia, which is employing many MBAs today.”
