  • Search more than 350 of the world’s top business schools
  • Partnered with Washington Post, Toronto Star and Mezun (Turkey)
  • Easy and free registration process at www.topmba.com

Opportunities
Nunzio Quacquarelli, managing director of QS, the education and careers specialists behind Scorecard and the QS World MBA Tour, says, “simply applying to top schools in the annual rankings often directs candidates towards unsuitable MBA programmes as not all candidates will benefit from a place at a ‘ranked’ school. Their application may be rejected and they may miss the best-suited MBA programme for their abilities and requirements. The opportunity cost in career terms may be great.”

Personalized Rankings
Using specifications that our research shows candidates find important, such as Return on Investment and Availability of Scholarships, candidates find Search and Scorecard an invaluable tool in short-listing schools. More than 350 business schools worldwide are represented in the new edition Search and Scorecard, which includes data on all aspects of programmes, specialisations, career prospects, the business school environment etc, provided by the schools.

Candidates can input specific factors (e.g. budget, strength of faculty, strength in career placement, diversity and specialisations) to find the most suitable match for them. They can view a full profile of their top-ranked schools and calculate and compare the Return on Investment (ROI) of the programme in relation to their current earnings and projected future sector of employment.

Case Study
The case study below illustrates the top ten schools that emerge from the Scorecard search of a UK candidate with specific priorities. For comparison, the top-ranked schools of in the static 2007 Financial Times rankings are provided for reference.

Paul Clark is a 26-year old UK-based Engineer, looking for a career change as an Entrepreneur. He prefers a 12-month course in the UK, but is open to international options. His priorities are Return on Investment, reputation with recruiters and availability of scholarships. It shows that, while not all results are different, there are several other business schools that Paul may want to consider.
