New research reveals the most popular subjects for international graduate study

29 July 2008

London,  29 July 2008: The breadth of academic subject areas attracting the interest of prospective masters and PhD students is increasing, according to the latest research released by the QS World Grad School Tour, the world’s largest series of international graduate school education fairs.

An analysis of the 33,000 future graduate students that attended one of the 40 QS World Grad School Tour events held in 26 countries in 2007 reveals that while two broad subject categories dominate the interest of students – finance, accountancy, management and economics (FAME), and science, technology, engineering and management (STEM) – a surprisingly diverse range of other subjects are also of interest to prospective international graduate students.
