QS Leadership Forums
Over two thousand high-calibre graduates and internationally mobile young professionals register to meet up to 50 major companies at each of our Leadership Career Forums. QS run these events to promote leadership and diversity career opportunities. Events are held around the world in cities such as: London, New York, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Moscow, Munich, Paris and Singapore.
Each event is designed to help candidates with their career development and involves a corporate exhibition area, workshops and seminars from senior business professionals as well as panel discussions in front of a unique talent pool of highly motivated, pre-selected candidates. Topics cover areas such as Leadership skills, interview techniques, personal branding and career progression. The focus is on the recruitment and development of future leaders amongst high potentials – particularly women and ethnic minorities:
Women in Leadership
The Glass Ceiling is widely perceived to affect those at senior management and executive level, however the general consensus is that various factors also serve to have a bearing on career progression during the earlier stages of women’s careers. At Women in Leadership, pre-selected candidates meet with high-profile employers to find out about opportunities available and what is being done by progressive companies to redress the issue of gender inequalities in the work-place for determined early career movers.
Professional Women in Leadership
Meet a pool of talented women professionals who are currently working or returning to work. Ambitious, educated, and experienced professionals are pre-selected by QS on the basis of participating companies’ selection and recruitment criteria. The Forum allows companies to discuss important issues on Career Transitions of professionals, mothers returning to the workplace and flexible working. It is designed as a platform to develop high potential candidates into leadership positions.
Diversity in Leadership
The value of a diverse workforce in an increasingly global economy is undeniable. In the proverbial ‘war for talent’ it is of paramount importance that companies present themselves as employers of choice for diverse candidates. The Diversity in Leadership Forums bring together ambitious candidates - students, graduates and professionals - and major employers from industries such as Finance, Business, Technology, Engineering and Law to exchange ideas, address key topics as well as providing a platform to meet and attract the best candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Employability and Leadership
The first instalment of this event will take place in Singapore with a view to developing soft skills for employment. Leading companies join QS to prepare, challenge and equip an audience of motivated pre-screened young professionals, with relevant skill sets to attain leadership positions.
